Gardaí investigate break-in at city hotel room

Gardaí are working to identify a man who broke into a hotel room in the city last evening
The incident happened at the Clayton Hotel in Ballybrit between 6 and 7pm.
A couple who were staying at the hotel were using the swimming pool with their daughter when their key card was stolen from the changing room.
The thief then entered their hotel room, and took their belongings including wallets with bank cards, and a filofax.
The victim of the crime, Dawn, says their bank cards were used in the nearby Briarhill Shopping Centre withn thirty minutes of being stolen.
Rory Fitzpatrick, Managing Director of the Clayton Hotel, says they’re working with Gardaí to find the culprit.
