More than 40 homes set to go under the hammer

More than 40 properties are set to go under the hammer at the O’Donnellan & Joyce ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ auction, which will take place on March 1.

Among the properties for sale is a large semi-detached house in Salthill which has been divided into 10 one-bed apartments, with a monthly rent of €5,000.

Auctioneer Colm O’Donnellan said: “There are some fabulous properties coming on the market, a number within walking distance of NUIG and UHG.

“There is plenty of variety in this auction to suit investors and first-time buyers, with all the counties on the ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ having something for sale, particularly in Galway City, where there are a number of properties in prime locations.”

Among the properties for sale are:

21 Lower Newcastle Road, Galway. A charming 4-bed semi-detached home presented in excellent condition with off-street parking to the rear. The location is second to none with NUIG and UHG on your doorstep. The Advised Minimum Value is €400,000.

25 Greenfields, Newcastle. A 1,320 sq ft semi-detached house in a popular residential development close to NUIG and UHG. The AMV is €250,000.
